Cody Mares Retired Co-Founder

Cody is a retired co-founder of Elluvium Financial, where he dedicated over three decades to serving clients and shaping the firm’s mission of helping others achieve financial clarity and confidence. With 35 years in the financial services industry, Cody brought both depth of experience and a genuine passion for guiding individuals and families through life’s financial decisions.

During his tenure, Cody played a pivotal role in onboarding new clients, servicing ongoing relationships, and acting as the firm’s on-site technology resource. He was known for his ability to approach each client’s unique situation with creativity and care—leveraging his extensive industry knowledge to help clients define their goals, assess feasibility, and chart a clear path toward success. His clients often viewed him not just as a financial advisor, but as a teacher, guide, counselor, friend, and personal CFO.

Originally from Appleton, Cody now enjoys the quiet of country living in a restored 1880 Belgian farmhouse with his wife, Tami. Together, they have four children and six grandchildren. Even in retirement, Cody remains actively involved in his community through his local church, the Rotary Club, and by serving on the boards of two local nonprofit organizations. In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and woodturning.
